Help for use

Why isn't my client's credit card saved after making a payment in the virtual terminal?

This is expected behavior. The virtual payment terminal is designed exclusively for one-time transactions.

To save a client's credit card information for future use, it is important to distinguish the payment terminal from the reservation process. Here is how it works:

  • How to save a card: You must enter the credit card details during the creation of the reservation. This allows the card to be securely stored as a guarantee.

  • If you are using Stripe: Once the card is added to the reservation, it will automatically appear and be available in the payment terminal.

  • If you are using PayFacto: Simply entering the card during the reservation is not enough for it to display. An actual payment must be processed (via an automated payment) for the card to be successfully stored and visible in your PayFacto interface.
